Van Triers style relates to the Neue Wilden: expressive, eclectic, full of history and autobiographical elements.
The paintings and drawings are also cartoonesque, stylized representations.
These are set up in raw painting strokes in a golden frame, covered with a layer of glitter or nailpolish.

Sometimes the works offers comfort and reassurance, the next moment they are from a repulsive ugliness.
In my painting I try to unite various influences in the zeitgeist of today. The fascination of the balancing
on the edge of imitation and/or imitation. The paintings and drawings are essential to create a performance, and vice versa.
